FAST Camp Eagles Soar Into State Championship Game
The FAST Camp Eagles Senior football team (10-0) is set to battle the Stone Oak Titans from Austin (10-0) for the Texas Youth Football Association State Championship Sunday Dec. 13, at Texas A&M’s Kyle Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
2009 was the inaugural season for the Eagles and all 5 divisions, from flag through senior, earned playoff bids. The senior team, coached by Gerard Lewis, has been most impressive this season. The Eagles averaged 39.3 points per game with the defense recording 7 shutouts.

Back-to-back champs
The F.A.S.T. Camp Eagles football program had two of its five teams qualify for the Texas Youth Football Association state championship this year. Both the Midget Division team (ages 6 and 7), coached by Keith Wheeler and the Senior Division team (ages 12 and 13), coached by Gerard Lewis, competed in the TYFA Division I championship games at Texas A&M University’s, Kyle Field on Dec. 5.

Humble-based youth team wins at “Hot in Texas” football classic
The F.A.S.T Camp Eagles, a competitive youth football organization based in Humble, traveled to Dallas to participate in the Hot in Texas Football Classic on Aug. 14-15. The Eagles Senior Team beat the Texas Marshalls by a score of 26-0 then went on to defeat Deion Sanders’ Truth Prime select football team by a final score of 14-8. The Eagles are led by head coach Gerard J. Lewis.
